Drinks
Licensed to drink
Our coffees are hot, our speciality teas are worth discovering and we’ve a small (but growing) hot chocolate menu. All our hot drinks are normally served with a little something home made. There are plenty of soft drinks abound too, all familiar favourites. And if it’s something stronger you’re after, we’re fully licensed so you can treat yourself to a glass of wine, beer or cider; cin cin!

Our wine list has been carefully curated in partnership with the Wright Wine Company. You can visit their ‘Aladdin’s cave’ of wines in the pretty market town of Skipton, North Yorkshire, roughly 30 minutes drive from Greendale Teahouse. Available by the glass and bottle.
PRIMORDIAL SOUP, RED BLEND, SOUTH AFRICA
Primordial Soup Red Blend is a rich mélange of the Western Cape’s classical cultivars, packed with juicy life, red in tooth and claw. It has a nose of creamy summer pudding and a palate of crushed cherries with a cranberry tang and texture.
GENO, TINTO, CARTUXA, PORTUGAL
Juicy, crunchy red fruit on the palate and super aromatic with seductive red fruits on the nose. Reminiscent of cherries, blueberries and plum. The wine has a good structure - generous body but with acidity, giving it freshness. A wonderful, versatile food wine, but eminently drinkable on its own.
NOSTROS, PINOT NOIR RESERVA, INDOMITA, CHILE
Light, fragrant and utterly delicious! There is a nose full of fresh red berries and a little warm spice. Clean crisp strawberry and ripe raspberry dominate the palate with a lovely integrated warmth of spiciness to finish. A perfect lunchtime tipple.
WHITE WINE
PRIMORDIAL SOUP, WHITE BLEND, SOUTH AFRICA
A twinkling in the mind’s eye, this cultured concoction of the Western Cape’s brightest cultivars is alive with firm, fleshy fruit. On the nose, it has notes of jasmine and white stone fruit. It has a nuanced citrusy palate and tangy finish.
MOUNT VERNON, SAUVIGNON BLANC, NEW ZEALAND
Vibrant and punchy, this is one of the best Sauv’s we’ve tasted. It’s bursting with flavour and makes a perfect afternoon wine with a natter. On the palate there’s passionfruit, grapefruit and mineral wet stone notes. Concentrated with a refreshing long finish.
CAMPOROSSO, GAVI, PIEDMONT, ITALY
This textbook example of Gavi made with the Cortese grape, has notes of blossom, lemon, elderflower and fresh green apple. On the palate it really livens up with clean apricot, lemon sherbet and even pear drops! It makes a great ‘food wine’ performing particularly well when matched with richer dishes.
ROSÉ WINE
CABERNET, LES ROULANTS, LANGUEDOC, FRANCE
From the Languedoc region in France, this rosé is an off-dry wine packed full with lovely ripe red berry flavours. It’s smooth and easy drinking which makes it the perfect companion when the sun’s out (or not).
SPARKLING WINE
PROSECCO, SPUMANTE EXTRA DRY, BORGO MOLINO, ITALY
Pale, straw-yellow in colour with fine bubbles and a rich fragrant bouquet. Slightly sweeter on the palate with notes of stone fruits and floral nuances. Borgo Molino pride themselves in managing the entire winemaking process, from grape growing to bottling. It makes a wonderful apéritif or companion to one of Zoe’s cakes.
MARQUES DE LARES, CAVA BRUT, EXTREMADURA, SPAIN
This stunning cava from Almendralejo showcases fresh apple and tropical fruit aromas, it’s crisp and fruity with a refreshing, lemony creamy finish. Wonderful to share when celebrating, or just because…
POL ROGER BRUT RÉSERVE
Winston Churchill's favourite champagne has a golden straw colour and fine bubbles. It's a blend of equal parts Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes, and has notes of green apple, pear, honeysuckle, brioche, quince jelly, apricot jam, acacia honey, candied orange peel, and cardamom spice.

ORVAL TRAPPIST ALE
Brewed by Trappist monks, Orval is a dry, herby ale with a distinct fresh hop bouquet. Ideal as an aperitif, it’s also wonderfully versatile with our menu. Whether you're enjoying a lighter dish or one of our specials, Orval’s unique flavours will elevate your dining experience.
